Accreditation Of The CTCB?
Accreditation of the CTCB and the CCTP Certification Program is the formal recognition that they have met the strict requirements placed on them.
This means that as a certified practitioner in the field you can be assured that the CCTP’s Board conformity assessment system meets some of the highest quality standards in the world.
Achieving ISO accreditation acknowledges the quality and integrity of the CCTP’s Board certification programs by:
- Demonstrating that CCTP credentials meet a global, industry-recognized benchmark;
- Ensuring CCTP credentials are consistent, comparable and reliable worldwide, giving professionals the opportunity to attain skills that translate across national lines;
- Protecting the integrity and ensuring the validity of the CCTP certification program, and
- Promoting to employers, colleagues, clients and vendors that CCTP-certified professionals have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform their work at an internationally recognized standard.
International Accreditation Forum
The SAC is a signatory of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) which falls under the International Organization for Standardization's (ISO) standard 17024 for personnel certification programs.
CTCB is first to develop
Counter Terrorism Certification Board is the first certification body in Singapore history to develop its own certification scheme, and among the first five organisations to be awarded with the prestigious IS0 17024.
Recognized by Portsmouth
Following a period of review and due diligence, the CCTP certification has been recognized by The University of Portsmouth, Institute of Criminal Justice Studies to the value of 20 Level 6 credits, the equivalent of one final year undergraduate module.
